Angelique is hauled for maintenance regularly. We haul at Rockland Marine in the spring prior to our season.
When you see the vessel out of the water on the railway you get a true idea how large a vessel she is.
Last haulout we sandblasted the bottom to "near white" 3 coats of epoxy primer, 2 coats of bottom paint, and a fresh topside coat.
This paint system (Mare Island) will hopefully last for 10-12 years.
Seacocks were inspected and cleaned, the Coast Guard also inspected Angelique (done every 24 months).
We are always happy when she is back in the water where vessels are supposed to be. |
