JOB OPPORTUNITIES:
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Thanks for your interest in a crew position aboard Angelique. Working aboard Angelique is a rewarding experience. Many of our crew return year after year.

All crew positions require hard work, long hours, and little time off. Pay base depends on experience.

We sail Angelique with 6 crew: 3 on deck and 3 in the galley. Basic First Aid and CPR certification is required for all crew positions. All crew are subject to a pre-employment drug test and random tests throughout the season (U.S.C.G. requirement).

Our sailing season is from end of May – Mid October. Spring outfitting begins on April 1. Crew that can start in April and sail until October are preferred. Spring outfitting is a big part of this job, it gives you an opportunity to learn the nuts and bolts of the vessel. We do have a couple of slots for crew that cannot arrive until May and need to leave before the season ends. These positions fill last.

An interview is important, it gives you the opportunity to learn what will be expected of you, ask questions, hear what a typical day aboard is, and it gives us the opportunity to learn more about you and your interests to see if we are compatible.  We have to not only work together, but live aboard together.

We cannot emphasize enough how hard any crew job is aboard. We are looking for self-motivated, conscientious individuals who are able to work well with others, are willing to learn in a unique environment, and that posses people skills. We are in the people business first, sailing business second.

If you are interested, and have not sent a resume citing your work experience and references, please do so now via email or U.S. Mail. If you have already done so, please give us a follow-up phone call or email.!

All the best,
Captain Dennis Gallant & Candace Kuchinski

GALLEY CREW:
